It has a rated population of 564 in the same report, and the report notes federal detainee housing under a U.S. Marshals Service contract.

Wetzel County Booking Process

WVDCR jail mail is sent through a scanned-mail address in Phoenix, Maryland. The envelope must include the inmate's first and last name and OID number, the full facility name with no abbreviations, PO Box 336, Phoenix, MD 21131. The sender must use a complete first and last name and full return address. WVDCR says photographs, multiple-offender letters in one envelope, attachments, and enclosures are not allowed in scanned letters.
